Getting started with Invisalign

Step 1: Initially you will have photos, X-rays, and a scan/ impression of your teeth taken to help formulate your treatment plan.

Step 2: A 3D treatment plan is developed by your doctor, just for you.

Step 3: As part of your treatment plan, you will be able to see how your teeth may look during and at the end of your treatment.

Step 4: Custom-made aligners specifically for your treatment needs will be provided and you can begin your treatment.

Step 5: You’ll go in for checkups every 6-8 weeks to monitor your progress and to receive your next sets of aligners which you’ll change every 2 weeks.

Step 6: After you’ve completed your treatment, don’t forget to protect your new smile with Vivera retainers.

What to expect during your treatment?

Attachments: Small, clear or tooth coloured ‘bumps’, this new technology may be needed to help with certain tooth movements.

Elastics: May be needed to enhance movement.

Polishing and contouring: To create additional space or loosen the contact points in your teeth.

Retention: To prevent your teeth from going back to their original position

Pontics:  A disguised tooth for those needing extractions as part of their treatment, the innovative pontic will hide the area where your tooth was removed so that no one needs to know you have had a tooth removed.
